ALLAH's ADDRESS TO MUSLIMS (PART 17) - In the name of Allah and may Allah's blessing be upon the last and final prophet, Mohammadﷺ  " Believers! Fear Allah and seek the means to come near to Him, and strive hard in His way;  maybe you will attain true success." Quran 5:35 Explaination -  People are urged to solicit all means which might bring them close to God and enable them to please Him. The English imperative ‘strive hard’ does not do full justice to the actual word used in the Qur’an: jahidu. The verbal form mujahadah signifies and carries the nuance of doing something in defiance of, or in opposition to someone. The true sense of the Qur’anic injunction ‘strive hard’ in the way of Allah is that the Muslims ought to use all their strength and engage in vigorous struggle against those forces which either forcefully prevent them from living in obedience to God or force them to live in obedience to others than God. ALLAH's ADDRESS TO MUSLIMS (PART 16) - In the name of Allah and may Allah's blessing be upon the last and final prophet, Mohammadﷺ "O believers! Stand firm for Allah and bear true testimony. Do not let the hatred of a people lead you to injustice. Be just! That is closer to righteousness. And be mindful of Allah. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what you do. Allah has promised those who believe and do good ˹His˺ forgiveness and a great reward. As for those who disbelieve and deny Our signs, they are the residents of the Hellfire." Quran 5:8-10 Explanation: Essential message is that when it comes to doing justice, let nothing affect you, neither your own self, nor your parents or your relatives. If the demand of justice happens to be against them, stay with nothing but justice. Hostility against an enemy should not affect your sense of justice to the limit that you start working against the demands of justice to harm your enemy.
