Do not take your parents and siblings as trusted allies if they choose disbelief over belief. And whoever of you does so, they are the wrongdoers. Say, “If your parents and children and siblings and spouses and extended family and the wealth you have acquired and the trade you fear will decline and the homes you cherish— are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger and struggling in His Way, then wait until Allah brings about His Will. Allah does not guide the rebellious people.”} Quran 9:23 & 24 Explaination - The ayat is telling all Muslims that their love for Allah and His Messenger is obligatory on them in a special degree. ALLAH's ADDRESS TO MUSLIMS (PART 19) - In the name of Allah and may Allah's blessing be upon the last and final prophet, Mohammadﷺ   O believers! Do not forbid the good things which Allah has made lawful for you, and do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors. Quran 5:87 Explaination -  Anyone should not attribute to himself the authority to proclaim things either lawful or unlawful according to his own wishes. Only that which God has held to be lawful is lawful, and only that which God has declared unlawful is unlawful. If men were to declare certain things either lawful or unlawful on their own authority, they would not be following the law of God but their own laws. This can be seen in christianity today, whatever pope declares lawful is considered lawful weather or not their sacred books say otherwise. Allowing marriages in same gender can be a very good example, although bible curses people involved in sodomy yet today it is considered lawful.
