ALLAH's ADDRESS TO MUSLIMS p1
ALLAH's ADDRESS TO MUSLIMS (PART 1) -
In the name of Allah and may Allah's blessing be upon the last and final prophet, Mohammadﷺ
"O you who believe, seek help through patience and prayer. Surely, Allah is with those who are patient.
Do not say of those who are slain in the way of Allah that they are dead. Instead, they are alive, but you do not perceive.
Surely We will test you with a bit of fear and hunger, and loss in wealth and lives and fruits, and give good tidings to the patient.
who, when a suffering visits them, say: “We certainly belong to Allah, and to Him we are bound to return.”
Quran 2:153-156
Points to be noted -
1. We will definately come across times of depression, loss of lives, loss of property or money, fear of loosing our jobs or loss in business or fear of loosing a loved one.
2. When such time comes Allah is guiding the way out of such depressions and losses by being patient and through our daily salah.
3. It also means that we should not turn to ways which involve shirk or kufr activities. Like seeking help from soothsayers or palmist or graves or angels rather we should pray only to Allah and seek his help and guidance.
4. If any calamity falls upon a Muslim, he should know that everything belongs to Allah and that everything is bound to return to its creator, to Allah.
5. The people who die for Allah or for the deen of Allah are actually not dead, they are alive although we may not be able to see them ot hear them or talk to them. It also means that although they are not dead, yet a Muslim should not call the dead for any sort of help during distress.
6. Allah loves people who are patient and the true test of patience is at the moment when calamity falls.
May Allah guide us all!
