ALLAH's ADDRESS TO MUSLIMS (PART 2)

ALLAH's ADDRESS TO MUSLIMS (PART 2) -

In the name of Allah and may Allah's blessing be upon the last and final prophet, Mohammadﷺ

"O you who have believed, eat from the good things which We have provided for you and be grateful to Allah if it is Him that you worship

He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is forced , neither desiring nor transgressing, there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Indeed, those who hide Allah’s revelations, trading them for a fleeting gain consume nothing but fire into their bellies. Allah will neither speak to them on the Day of Judgment, nor will He purify them. And they will suffer a painful punishment.

They are the ones who trade guidance for misguidance and forgiveness for punishment. How persistent are they in pursuit of the Fire!"

Quran 2:172-173

Points to be noted -
1. Allah has created everything on this earth and heavens for humans. Humans can use these things for their benefit and should know that its a blessing from their lord and that they should be thankful. There are stuff which are harmful and many which are useful, so we should choose what is good for us or if one should say, those which are permissible for a muslim.

2. When it comes to food, Allah has permitted us to eat all good things and forbidden us to eat flesh of swine, blood, meat of dead and anything which is dedicated to false god's. This also means that we should eat meat which is slaughtered as per the islamic guidelines ie., zabiha. When an animal is slaughtered in the prescribed manner, all blood from the body is gushed out and with it germs and diseases also go out which that animal might be carrying. Hence, if the animal is slaughtered in the prescribed manner then one can be sure that he is not consuming any blood.

3. If any muslims finds himself in a situation where he is unable to find anything lawful to eat and is dying of hunger then it is permissible for him to eat even from prohibited diets but only a quantity which is enough for him to survive.

4. If the intent is good, and not aimed to trangress or disobey the law of Allah, then Allah is most forgiving , loves to forgive and loves those who seek forgiveness.

5. It is mandatory upon every muslim to spread the knowledge of quran

6. Allah will not forgive anyone who hides what is revealed or changes the meaning or spreads the knowledge for worldly desires.

May Allah forgive us, make us steadfast and guide us all!
