ALLAH's ADDRESS TO MUSLIMS (PART 8)
ALLAH's ADDRESS TO MUSLIMS (PART 8) -
In the name of Allah and may Allah's blessing be upon the last and final prophet, Mohammadﷺ
"O you who believe, fear Allah and give up what still remains of ribā, if you are believers.
But if you do not (give it up), then listen to the declaration of war from Allah and His Messenger. However, If you repent, yours is your principal. Neither wrong, nor be wronged."
Quran 2:278-279
Points to be noted
1. All type of Interest and usury is strictly prohibited in islam
2. Islam promotes business, trade and profit but prohibits interest.
3. Muslims should not be fooled by so called islamic banks which charge interest yet term it as profit
4. Interest is one of the major sin. Anyone who consumes it or writes it is as if declaring a war against Allah and his messenger.
5. If someone lends a loan then the principal is his to take and any benefit taken above that is interest and is haram.
May Allah save us all from interest, guide us and forgive us.
