ALLAH's ADDRESS TO MUSLIMS (PART 35)
ALLAH's ADDRESS TO MUSLIMS (PART 35) -
In the name of Allah and may Allah's blessing be upon the last and final prophet, Mohammadﷺ
{
O believers! Do not proceed ˹in any matter˺ before ˹a decree from˺ Allah and His Messenger. And fear Allah. Surely Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
O believers! Do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak loudly to him as you do to one another, or your deeds will become void while you are unaware.
Indeed, those who lower their voices in the presence of Allah’s Messenger are the ones whose hearts Allah has refined for righteousness. They will have forgiveness and a great reward.
}
Quran 49:1-3
Explaination -
These ayats although refer to the sahaba because they were the one's which were present at the time of Rasool Allahﷺ, however, this also applies to every muslim of any time.
If we are in a debate with someone on any religious matter and the other person says that, "this is said in such hadith", then our first reaction should be to hold back and be quite.
Having said so, it does not mean that you cease the right to verify whether that hadith mentioned was really true or not, sahih or daeef but as mentioned, silence should be our first reaction.
Allah knows best!
